Champion Porsche performs Porsche oil and filter changes on a drive-up basis at 500 West Copans Road in Pompano Beach, Florida — no appointment required, using factory-supplied Mobil 1™ ESP Formula oil and genuine Porsche filters, typically in about 60 minutes.
Same-day appointments are also available for express oil changes. Just drive up.
Porsche Express Oil & Filter Service is a drive-up oil change performed by factory-certified Porsche technicians without a scheduled appointment. Champion Porsche was the first Porsche Center in South Florida to operate a dedicated Express Service lane.
The service uses the same factory-supplied Mobil 1™ ESP Formula oil, the same genuine Porsche oil filter, and the same certified technicians as a full-service appointment. Express Service changes the scheduling model, not the standard of work.
Express Service at Champion Porsche is first-come, first-served. Drive to 500 West Copans Road during service hours and a service greeter will take your Porsche into the Express lane.
"I've taken my 911 to independent shops. Once I experienced the difference in how Champion handles the oil service—the inspection detail, the communication, the fact that they actually know the car—I won't go elsewhere." — Michael R., 911 Carrera S Owner
Every Champion Porsche express oil and filter change includes the following seven items at no additional charge beyond the service price.
1. Factory-Specified Mobil 1™ ESP Formula Oil Porsche Cars North America specifies Mobil 1™ ESP Formula — 0W-40 or 0W-30 depending on your engine. Champion Porsche stocks factory-supplied oil in sealed containers and never dispenses from bulk drums.
2. Genuine Porsche Oil Filter The filter is a Porsche part number matched to your VIN, not a universal-fit equivalent. Porsche filter media is specified for the higher oil pressures and sustained RPM ranges that Porsche flat-six and V8 engines operate under.
3. Oil Drain Plug and Crush Washer Replacement The aluminum crush washer is replaced at every service, not reused. A reused washer is the most common source of slow drain-plug seepage on Porsche oil pans.
4. Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection A certified technician inspects tires, brakes, belts, hoses, suspension components, and fluid levels. You receive the findings before you leave, not as a surprise upsell.
5. Open Recall and Technical Campaign Check Champion Porsche queries your VIN against the current PCNA recall and campaign database at every visit. Open campaigns are performed at no cost under Porsche warranty.
6. Fluid Top-Off Brake fluid, coolant, and washer fluid levels are checked and topped to specification with Porsche-approved fluids.
7. Digital Service Record The service is logged to your Porsche's factory maintenance record. This documentation is what protects your warranty position and your resale value at trade-in or private sale.

A Champion Porsche express oil and filter change typically takes approximately 60 minutes from drive-up to keys-back.
Because Express Service runs first-come, first-served, total time on-site depends on lane volume when you arrive. Weekday mornings between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM are consistently the lowest-volume windows.
You are welcome to wait on-site with complimentary WiFi, premium coffee, and access to the Champion Porsche boutique. If you would rather not wait, ask the service greeter about a complimentary loaner vehicle.
Porsche specifies an oil and filter change every 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first, for most current models.
Track and performance driving — sustained high oil temperatures accelerate additive breakdown
Short-trip city driving — Miami and Fort Lauderdale stop-and-go prevents the oil from reaching full operating temperature, allowing fuel and moisture dilution
Sustained heat and humidity — year-round South Florida ambient temperatures increase thermal load
Extended storage — seasonal residents storing a Porsche for months should service by time interval, not mileage
If your Porsche accumulates fewer than 10,000 miles per year, service on the 12-month clock. Time-based degradation happens whether the car is driven or not.
Porsche requires Mobil 1™ ESP Formula in 0W-40 or 0W-30 viscosity, with the specific grade determined by your engine and model year.
Champion Porsche uses only factory-supplied Porsche-approved oil. Champion Porsche does not use bulk oil, aftermarket equivalents, or "meets or exceeds" substitutes.
Porsche approval is not a marketing label. Porsche-approved oils are tested against Porsche's own specifications for high-temperature shear stability, turbocharger deposit control, and particulate-filter compatibility. An oil that meets a generic industry standard has not been tested against those specific requirements.
If you drive a classic air-cooled Porsche: Champion Porsche stocks period-correct oil specifications for pre-1999 models. Air-cooled engines require different viscosity and additive packages than modern water-cooled Porsche engines.
An independent oil change does not automatically void a Porsche warranty. However, using oil that does not meet Porsche specification — or failing to document the service — can create a coverage dispute when a lubrication-related claim is filed.
The practical risk is documentation, not legality. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you serviced elsewhere. What a manufacturer can do is deny a specific claim if it determines improper oil or an incorrect filter contributed to the failure.
Champion Porsche service creates a factory-recorded maintenance entry tied to your VIN. If a warranty question ever arises, the record already exists in Porsche's system.
A quick-lube oil change carries three specific risks for a Porsche owner: non-specified oil, non-OEM filtration, and technicians without Porsche-specific training.
Bulk oil dispensing. High-volume quick-lube operations dispense from bulk drums formulated for mass-market engines. Porsche's ESP Formula specification exists because Porsche engines run higher oil temperatures and tighter tolerances than the vehicles bulk oil is blended for.
Minimum-specification filters. Aftermarket filters are engineered to meet a minimum industry standard. Porsche filters are engineered to Porsche's filtration and flow requirements. Those are not the same target.
Generalist technicians. A quick-lube technician services dozens of makes. Champion Porsche technicians are Porsche-certified and work on Porsche vehicles exclusively — which is why a developing issue gets flagged during the multi-point inspection instead of missed.
Champion Porsche services every Porsche generation, from classic air-cooled 911s through current 992-generation and fully electric Taycan models.
Current models serviced in the Express lane include:
Champion Porsche technicians hold certification across all Porsche eras, and Champion Porsche stocks Porsche Classic parts for older models.
