Highlights
This Carrera RSR Hot Rod is based off a 1970 911T that was an Autocross car earlier in its life. We have acquired the roller chassis to transform to what it is now. It still has the original front and floor pans and totally rust free tub. Original color was Bahia Red which can be seen on the underside of the car. It was resprayed to period correct early 911 color of Tangerine, paint code 2323. Power plant is an 84 Carrera 3.2 liter with High Lift profile camshafts producing 265+ horsepower with pump gas. Built for street use and reliability by David Glenn of Oceanshore Motorsports. Aluminum 915 transmission with a Porsche ZF Limited Slip Differential was also built by the aforementioned Master engine builder rated to perform top speed of 152 mph with the current rear tire circumference and 8:31 gear ratio. The non Sunroof Coupe is built with Fiberglass hood, Fiberglass RSR style front and rear bumpers, Fiberglass front fenders, Fiberglass rear flares and Fiberglass duck tail engine lid to achieve a super light Hot Rod resulting in an amazing total weight of 2,042 lbs. Scale reading shows 2,192 lbs. with 25 gallons of fuel in a 100 liter Plastic tank. (insert photo of scale reading) Wheels are original RSR 9x15 fronts and 11x15 rears professionally restored by Harvey Weidman. Almost $100K in build cost with documented receipts.
