It is not the previous 7-speed manual with one gear removed. According to Porsche and Motor1, the gearbox uses the first six ratios of the seven-speed manual but incorporates the shifter linkage mechanism from the 911 GT3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The gear lever terminates in a shift knob made from open-pored walnut.
