On Sunday, March 15, 2026, the Champion Motorsport facility in Pompano Beach transformed into the epicenter of South Florida’s Porsche community. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, over seven hundred enthusiasts gathered for what would become one of the most memorable Cars & Coffee events of the year\u2014marking the first major fan meetup featuring Rexy<\/strong>, the championship-winning Porsche 911 GT3 Rawr, under Champion Porsche’s sponsorship banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, held rain or shine at our 3101 Center Port Circle facility<\/strong>, brought together the perfect blend of motorsport heritage, community passion, and prehistoric personality that defines the Champion Porsche experience in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rexy, the 2024 IMSA GTD Pro Champion, made a special appearance at Champion Motorsports<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The undisputed headliner was Rexy<\/strong>\u2014AO Racing’s iconic green Porsche 911 GT3 Rawr and 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD Pro title winner<\/strong>. Fresh off Champion Porsche’s newly announced sponsorship, Rexy represented the living connection between our dealership’s motorsport heritage and contemporary racing excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team Principal Gunnar Jeannette<\/strong>, who grew up in South Florida watching Champion Porsche dominate tracks with their iconic 993 GT2 and GT1 cars, helped facilitate the partnership that brought Rexy to our facility. As Jeannette noted when announcing the sponsorship, “For AO Racing to be partnering with one of the most iconic Porsche Dealerships seems like a match made in heaven”<\/em> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendees had the rare opportunity to see Rexy’s famous T-Rex livery\u2014including that championship-winning diamond-studded “24” tooth\u2014up close and in person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just days before the event, Champion Porsche revealed that our 1 of 77 Porsche GT3R Rennsport<\/strong> had received a complete makeover in preparation for Cars & Coffee . The track-only, 611-horsepower racing machine\u2014one of the most exclusive Porsches ever produced\u2014debuted its refreshed appearance to an enthusiastic crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rennsport’s presence underscored Champion Motorsport’s commitment to serious performance. With only 77 examples worldwide, this represents the pinnacle of Porsche’s 992-generation racing technology\u2014a fitting companion to Rexy’s championship-proven GT3 platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
